Colorado

Colorado hosts some of the finest Alpine Rock Climbing in all of the US.  Maybe it’s your first time

Early morning alpine start and arriving to the base of the Petit Grepon and the Cathedral Spires group in RMNP, CO. From left to right, Sharkstooth, Petit Grepon and the Sabre.

climbing above treeline on some moderate alpine ridge or your heart is set on the Diamond of Long’s Peak,  Joe’s been there and can get you there.  Having spent 10 summers working Rocky Mountain National Park,  This might be Joe’s home away from home that’s away from home.  From classic spires like the Petit Grepon, 5.8 III to Long hard routes like the Casual on the Diamond of Long’s Peak at 5.10 IV,  The park might be as good as it gets.  Through the visiting guide program at the Colorado Mountain School we can get you there.

In addition to the Classics of RMNP, we have a partnership with Rocky Mountain Guides, and can do some Alpine ridges and spring snow climbs in the Summit County area and on local 14ers like Quandry.

If climbing elsewhere in the states please use the Trip Builder tab to talk about your plans. We have partners in Jackson hole and can climb in the Tetons, and as far as the Sierra Nevada and Cascades.  Heck we can even take you to Canada and climb in the Bugaboos if you desire.
